During the summer we love to plan an epic backpacking and camping road trip. This one took us to the amazing San Juan mountains of Colorado where we hiked an explored for days visiting some of the areas most pristine alpine lakes. We hiked up to Blue Lakes #2 during the afternoon of one of our backpacking trips. Here was the view as the sun slowly started to leave us for the day, creating this vibrant sunstar.
